At first， I prepared myself to be disappointed。。。this seemed like the story would follow the same old， same old--a rich， spoiled bride who would burn the dinner and give up， only to have the hero follow her and declare his undying love。There was a little bit of that， but the heroine surpassed all that。 She had character and she persisted。 She had talents and skills。 The hero didn't fall in love with her just because of some intangible attraction （even thought there was that）， but because of the At first， I prepared myself to be disappointed。。。this seemed like the story would follow the same old， same old--a rich， spoiled bride who would burn the dinner and give up， only to have the hero follow her and declare his undying love。There was a little bit of that， but the heroine surpassed all that。 She had character and she persisted。 She had talents and skills。 The hero didn't fall in love with her just because of some intangible attraction （even thought there was that）， but because of the wonderful person she was。 I did find the pressure to marry right away odd--even for the times。 Once the guy decided to wait to make a decision， they needed time to fall in love。 Just my opinion。So， I recommend this book。。。there is some beauty in a love where God leads。I received this book free as part of a Celebrate Lit tour， but the opinions are my own。 。。。more
